Custom Designed Lightweight Hub // HUB

Due to the design of the carbon spokes, an off-the-shelf hub will not do. Therefore, the hub is custom-designed with reliability, easy serviceability, durability, and lightweight-ness as guiding principles. The hub is equipped with a fast engagement 4-pawls system.
The Rocket Series supports all major Body systems.

Carbon With Extreme Stiffness // SPOKES

The spokes used in the Rocket series are made of carbon with an aerodynamic profile and weigh only 2.6 grams each. Compared to traditional steel spokes, this is two to three times lower than conventional steel spokes.
Using carbon spokes also gives higher stiffness and greater tensile strength, ensuring maximum power transfer and providing a competitive advantage in all-out sprints and high power climbs.

Most importantly, the carbon spokes are fully serviceable and can be replaced and trued, just like any ordinary spoke.

CeramicSpeed // BEARINGS

The Rocket Series uses CeramicSpeed bearings to unlock the full potential of the wheelset.
CeramicSpeed bearings are recognized as some of the - if not - the world's best ceramic bearings and have for several years now been an integral part of professional cycling. They are the ultimate tool for lowering rolling resistance to an absolute minimum and gaining the last vital seconds.

Please keep in mind that CeramicSpeed bearings do require more maintenance than a conventional high-performance steel bearing.

Rebel Rocket 45 Rim // RIM

The Rocket carbon rim uses Ultra Smooth Molding technology to reduce the rim weight and ensure rigidity when racing. This also means a smoother rim surface and finish.
The rim supports both the conventional tire/tube configuration and a tubeless setup.
But due to the carbon spokes, which uses a proprietary design, the rim features internal spoke holes and therefore must use Rim tape/Tubeless tape

The ROCKET carbon rim is designed with a hooked rim bead, giving the rider maximum safety and 100% tire compatibility.

Brake Track // Braking Performance

Using advanced machinery and Diamond Polishing Treatment for the braking surface allows braking directly on the woven carbon fiber.
The ROCKET carbon rim has a no temperature limit brake track that significantly improves braking performance and gives the rider a more secure and consistent brake performance on a high-speed descent and in wet conditions.
To complete the ROCKET 45 braking capabilities, the brake tracks also feature a water transport system that leads the water away from the braking surface and improves an already superior rim-brake experience even further.

Width // DIMENSIONS

The ROCKET rim follows the trend on wider rims. A wider rim width provides more support for the tire's sidewalls. This improves cornering and will give the rider more control. A wide rim also allows riders to run much lower tire pressures and through that, increases the amount of comfort on the bike.
Lastly, wider rims and squared-off tire profiles have superior aerodynamic properties.
